Developing an active civil society organizations climate network

Aim of the project:  The aim of the project is to build capacity of CSOs and the existing climate network on local, national and EU levels. Through cooperations we also aim to rise the ambition of national climate plans.

Duration: 2019-2021

The physical and political manifestations of global climate change are starting to reach Estonia. As the topic of climate change is complex and ways to mitigate it differ greatly, many civil society organizations (CSOs) lack knowledge, capacity and a common voice to effectively participate in these discussions. The aim of the two-year project is to build capacity of CSOs and the existing CSO climate network on local, national and EU levels. Through cooperations we also aim to rise the ambition of Estonian national climate plans.
