During the last five years EELC has contributed to the development of the field of environmental law, both in its legislative and practical part . We have issued the monthly newsletter on environmental matters, prepared the legal analyses, organised the trainings, put together guidelines and given legal aid. In collaboration with other environmental organisations we are trying to increase the citizen participation and the transparency of environmental decision-making process.
The 5th anniversary party was held on the 2nd of November in Tartu, where our friends were invited to celebrate the day. The creation story of EELC was recalled, also the present and the future were discussed.
In November we have updated our website – under the headings of Projects and Portfolio there is an exhaustive overview of our current activities and achievements.
We have asked our friends to answer the question, what is the 5-year-old EELC like?
Quoting the different opinions “EELC is competent and open in its actions”. We are “smart, developing and ambitious organisation, which has a unique action field”. In summary, EELC is “a commited and enthusiastic do-gooder”.
