EELC Advisory Board held a meeting
On 31 May, the honourable Advisory Board of EELC held its meeting. The Advisory Board decided to approve the financial and activity report of 2011, listened to the overview of EELC activities from EELC executive committee (Ex Comm), and selected Kärt Vaarmari and Siim Vahtrus as members of the EELC Ex Comm for the next two years.

This week, EELC lawyer Kärt Vaarmari participates in seminar, held in Bosnia about Sava River Water Management Plan. The seminar is targeted at officials from local municipalities of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as municipal companies and non-governmental organisations; the purpose of the seminar is to enhance public participation in creation of cross-border Sava River Water Management Plan.

Estonian Environmental Law Center (EELC) will organise a series of evening lectures in May and June, named „Legal means for solving environmental problems“. Altogether four evenings of lectures will be hold on different topics: marine protection, environmental liability, climate change and energetics.
